April 5th – April 9th at the Coronation Hall Supper Room Ulverston. Ulverston Society of Artists produce annual exhibitions of works by local artists. The exhibitions are open to all and the exhibits are for sale. Admission is free but donations are welcome. Opening times may vary.

Ulverston Society of Artists has been established over 50 years. Currently, the Society has over 100 members, ranging from beginners to professional artists.
Monthly meetings are held in the schoolroom at Bardsea. These usually take the form of a demonstration or talk by a visiting artist. The Society also has links with local groups which meet on a weekly basis for painting, drawing and life classes.
Exhibitions of members’ work are held annually in the Spring and in September. The September exhibition coincides with Ulverston Charter Week and a shorter exhibition takes place over the Dickensian Weekend in November. There is also an arrangement for the exhibiting of pictures in various local establishments throughout the year.
